Just MOTed my WG and have been advised to replace the upper rear ball joint and bushes, question is I have had to replace these twice in the last couple of years and given the relative lack of use my jeep gets (on and off road, not a lot of time to use and abuse it!) these don't seem last long enough.
Can anyone recommend a better quality replacement, a quick Google leaves me unsure as to the best place and make to get.
The jeep has a 4inch lift fitted, which has a spacer on the top of the axle between the ball joint and diff case, does this type of setup just lead to excessive wear, and should I just resign myself to regular replacements or change the suspension setup somehow?
In the UK, by the way! But I have family in Canada who I could probably convince to get a part out there and post it?

I have just bought the complete arm off ebay, done is on both off my WJs and the arms seemed to have lasted. You are on a 4" lift with a 2" spacer I expect, which is just like running a 2" lift without a spacer which I currently have. Maybe look at getting some none void bushes? (dunno if they exist!) and see if they last longer

Thanks, I'll look into a complete arm for the bushes, but their wear is more minor compared to the ball joint, I replaced the lot of them when the suspension went on a couple of years ago but the ball joint fell apart shortly afterwards and was replaced under warranty.
With only a few thousand miles covered - almost exclusively on road - I wonder if I should seek out a better quality part than the pattern part my local parts place can get...

Rockauto do the Moog ball joints for £26 which is there most expensive one, cheapest is £9 which is a bit too cheap I think! Plus we get a 5% discount too.

Moog joints seem to be good quality, I have used their steering tie rod ends before
