Title: 1998 grand Cherokee Steering Stabiliser
Post by: delboy259 on April 19, 2015, 04:31:45 PM
Ok......
The steering damper Has passed It's sell By Date.
I have Got a New One to Replace It.
But.......
I can't Get The Old One Off......
I Have Found Out that I Need A Pitman Arm Puller To Remove The Bolt From the Drag Arm.
That's Fine, But I Don't Know What Size I Need...
I See That There Is A 27mm Or A 33mm
Can Any Of You Learned Guys Point Me In the Right Direction?
Thanks

Derek

Rip the damper off the stud and then twist the stud out with a deep socket on a breaker bar if it has a hex on it or a big pair of stilsons if it hasn't.
