NO get the HP-2003 it is fitted with a non return valve, (the black ones don't) stops the oil draining if your stationry on a sharp incline.

preferred weapon of choice.......chain wrench to remove filters


strap wrenches slip.

filter sockets round the edges of the filter

screwdriver through the filter....more pain when the canister falls off and the base plate stays in place

this may sound over the top but i have 7 filter tools ranging in type to deal with all variations of bind that can happen with filters

right, wish me luck, about to commence first oil & oil filter change in 29 yrs  :100:

I have a removal tool so hopefully it wont end in tears (thats fucked that then!!)

Got to have at least 5 filter removal tools to cover the filters on cars and bikes. A chain wrench on a ratchet is the old faithfull

Didn't take as much oil as I thought it would tho

altho did try and change the fairlead to a new black one courtesy of YT only to find it was smaller than mine once i had got it all off :banghead:
