Well started to try and sort the V8
Sorted the rear lights by removing the Gay ones and re-fitting normal jeep ones

May have missed but what is the story behind this one ?
Where from and what's so special about it ?
Just curious :icon_winkle:
-
it's a US import 5.2 V8 lefty
there rare as rocking hores shit over here. only came in 2.5 TD and 4 l 6cly over here.
was owned by Wilo and then Buber and now me
possibly not the most historically important motor on the planet but always wanted a V8 ZJ.
ANd RED was never an option in Europe
-
Ah Yes ...... ex Willo, now that rings a bell.
Lots of salty air on da Island ya know :003:
Good luck!
-
still a cracking truck wish i had kept it but if i had all the ones i wished i had kept i would need 40 acre field
-
Did my ZJ cills with 100x100x3mm
Big and heavy but that size is needed to fill the gap.....
-
I've got a ported throttle body for that engine if you're interested. £200 posted.

Mmmmm, I really love this ZJ.
I'd happily add myself to the list should it ever be looking for a new carer :icon_winkle: :003:

having to go with 120x120mm box section as to put back the missing metal :banghead: :banghead:
-
Yes I think mine were that and not 100 as I said.
When I went to pick the steel they brought it overhead on a crane in one long length....I thought shit that's large who's that for.....????.
Oops that's for me......lowered onto the monkey metal ZJ bars and a slow ride home......
Happy. Welding :icon_super:
-
getting the steel sorted. but saw blade naked so didn't get to welding :banghead: :banghead:
