Evening all. Just a quick question to hopefully get some knowledge shared my way. I've had some transmission probs - taking ages to get into gear, under powered, almost feels like gears slipping etc etc, and had worried that the whole transmission needs replacing. However, I now think it's probably just ATF fluid needs doing.
I've seen on other forums that people have found dipsticks for my model on ebay etc, but for the life of me I cannot find one. FYI, had also heard that European import CRDs never had this dipstick fitted - I've no idea why though.
So, was just wondering if anyone knows where I can get me one of those, to hopefully be able to easily keep an eye on, and top up my own ATF.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Welcome. I'm not sure what auto transmission is in your Jeep but you might want something like this...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Auto-Gearbox-Automatic-Transmission-Dipstick-1220mm-For-Mercedes-Jeep-Chrysler-/322563383520?epid=0&hash=item4b1a46a0e0:g:StUAAOSwDrNZS4zC
I'm sure somebody will be along soon who knows better.

Welcome to the forum. In the meantime, you might want to check for error codes to see if you have any transmission related ones.
