On the YJ....... Dana 44 rear had a lockrite for 8 years no probs
on the front Dana 30 lockrite for 8 years then ARB (makes tight turns a possibility)
lockrites from the US and ARB second hand off the shelf at FTE and fitted by Steve......
'1 ton' to have Detroit at rear 14 bolt (got it)
Lockrite in front Dana 60......... tight turns not a prob as hydro steered now :icon_twisted:

I replaced axles with detroits front and rear, much prefer the ARBs as you can leave them off, and switch them on when needed
-
Aussie lockers front and rear. Excellent value, £150 each end... happy days
-
As said lockers are good................... but you'll get stuck further in and deeper .................and further away from help :icon_twisted:

Or you'll get through/up/back out without help/big revs/numerous attempts...
Plus you can tackle stuff and a slower pace and revs...less damage to truck/contents/terrain...
Depends on driving style, if you like nailing it then lockers could cause knock on problems as of course more stress on UJ's etc...
Lockers :icon_super:

ARB's front and rear, still going strong after 15 years.
-
Detroit rear, Truetrac front. Would go proper full locker in the front, probably ARB if re-doing it.
