Nah, showers dont count, it is mandatory to pee in the shower male or female. Thought it was illegal not to

Your ZJ remotes wont work on a pre 97 XJ. The XJ has infra red remote (the reciever is that little black globe on the roof console) while the ZJ and later XJ are radio controlled. You need the correct XJ one.

Instead of peeing in the shower isn't it more hygenic to switch the water on?

I have had to take them to  stealerships in the past, all local alarm places couldn't re programme the ECU to see the fob

Owen

I think it depends on what type of fob it is, as there are a number of types.

Mine has only one button, and has to be programmed by the stealership.

But I think some can be programmed at the car. I think there was a post on Jeepclub about this.

If it has to go the stealership, they will charge £15 for doing it.

I have sorted it! Turned ignition on, pointed fob at sensor, pressed unlock, and it all poped on! Couldnt believe it was that simple!

And so to add to my trades it looks like im an auto electrician :D
