could be but i have to say its very hard to judge at times the bite can be vague my advise is to try and force it to slip and and judge if you get a dead stall or any slip ......hash but you will know

tell me if i'm wrong but don't cable clutches bite towards full travel (floor area) and hydraulic at the top end with a small bit of play at the beginning.  As Kev said can you actually get it to slip yet

its a big ish job to do to replace the clutch just to find you still have the same pedal  done it my self thought the clutch was nearly gone and decided to change the engines and fit a clutch at the same time to find the pedal was no better

I know what you are saying Kev, but as yellas clutch is an unknown (allready fitted in a well used vehicle when we got it) I am worried it will give out and leave us stranded somewhere.

on the bright side no slippage if i don't touch the pedal but a light touch will cause a slip

i had clutches with a bite that close to the top but no slip for ages but these were 1.3l engines. if it doesn't slip on the gas then i wouldn't worry too much about it at this stage.
