breakout 2012
« on: November 21, 2011, 02:26:20 PM »

West Harptree is provisionally booked for the 24th and 25th March 2012, looks like it will be around £50 per car for the weekend with camping on site, prices and date will be confirmed within the next 2 weeks after I have been down to the site. does look like this will have to be a pre booked/paid event but for now if I could have some sort of interest list it will help.

Too early in the year for me to go camping.  I would probably have to leave the trailer on site and stay in nearby accomodation.  The date is in the diary, just need to sort out the logistics.

a quick search has shown this place just under 5mls away, don't know it personally but reasonable prices (well compared to the rest around there) and easy drive to the site

When down that neck of the woods, I usually stay here http://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodation/south-west-england/hostels/cheddar/index.aspx

No chance of getting a trailer in their car park though.  I could always risk not breaking down.  Although I am no longer with the RAC, I don't think the AA will be any better regarding muddy Jeeps.

I might be up for it, what does the event entail (think thats the right word??!)? Won't need camping though as a) too ferkin cold in march and b) live 5.5 miles away or 4.5 miles away if you take the green lane! Might be able to put a few people up too.......
