does anyone in the know, know, if it is possible to get wheel adapters to go from either 5 x 4.5 or 5 x 5.5 to
 6 x 5.5

Think so.

Try 4WD hardware.  They list loads of adapters. :icon_winkle:

for the moment its a get me out of jail free, could be a good(read cheap) sacrificial part though!

otherwise i gotta find another simex and another spare wheel so i have 2 spares with different pcd's

my intended use is for my tj dana 44 rear which can either be 5x4.5 or 5x 5.5 cos of the alloy shafts, don't know if thats relevant to uni bearing? :017:

If you go 5x5.5 it just so happens I have 5 trailready beadlock wheels here with new (less than 100 miles use) 37" boggers that I would part with for moooolar.

well, said new axle and wheels are 6 x 5.5 PCD, In a bid to keep the pocket in reasonable order, I intend for the moment to only fit the front axle, and so in order not to have to carry 2 spare wheels, one with 5 x 4/5.5 PCD and one with 6x5.5 pcd, I want to fit wheel adapters to the my TJ rear axle so we are all tickettyboo. I am also informed that the 'new front Axle' has a wider track, so I thought this may even it out

you now need an x behind your front seats and straight down from rear hoop to chassis...

The MSA blue book seems to be making it up as they go along........

Best visually looking cages seem to be the "buggy stylee" going up from floor by driver and along and up to come down on rear chassis area........ then cross brace from side to side.........have a look at cages on Pirate

Oh feckin no........ that's not allowed goto have separate hoop over driver and passenger heads no joins............

For god sake this aint nasca with chrome moly rated at 63,000 psi..........

Or am I just having a hissy fit?

But on an adapter front...I have looked and failed.......

If anyone finds an adapter that works to adapt 8 on 6.5 (chevy 1ton) to mog 6 stud pattern to run 20" rims and 44-47" rubber ....please post it up.

Appologies for hijack but a few of us are looking at Agric as the way forward...... :icon_biggrin: :icon_twisted:

I'm sure you could get an engineering company or man with lathe / milling machine to make some for you. To me they only appear to be rings of billet alloy with hole in the right spots either machined for nuts or of correct diameter for a wheel stud to be pressed into.

I have never done it so might be missing something basic but would think it's an option

any decent engineering company should be able to make a set for you. the just need a thickness the two pcd and bolt pattern along with the recess depth for the hub nuts
