'79 CJ7 rebuild has begun.

Well howdy fellow dirtys.  I've officially begun the rebuild of my CJ 7 resto.  Bolted the first brackets to the frame just now - had to run back in to report!

Wish me luck.  Someday it will look like the one on the left........

This was it;



The first little bracket to go back onto the sub frame.  Looks like a different colour but it isn't - just different batches - reflected the light differently.

Mating faces fay sealed with Pro-Seal 870C

Fixing bolts (A2 stainless) installed with Cor-Ban 27L
