So where have you fitted the CB antenna on your XJ?
« on: May 18, 2005, 10:08:29 AM »

Now other than boring a hole through the roof or fitting a mag mount, neither of which I want to do, where have you managed to fit an antenna?

Either a gutter mount or boot lip mount would be my preference but which type have you used. And have you found it to be up to the job?

Cheers, Paul

As I said in the first post that is one option I do not want to use as low flying trees will wack it off.

Now settled on a rear hatch mount fitted to one side of the hatch. This can take more impact than the mag and won't result in the sort of corrosion that can result fron knocking holes through the paintwork.
