I think its a good idea everyone else is doing it and seems to be working also you will be able to restrict who goes on and send messages to all the group to update them.

what dose everyone else think?

its so much easier to add pics as everyone puts them on fb anyway

coz if we are i cant b arsed swappin between sites to look at photos

as far as i understand it, and Birty will correct me, all we need folk to do is to upload photos to the events gallery, or their own gallery, before postin the picks (by using the birty link in the gallery), simples, and we dont have to look a load of saddos goin to facebook  :003:

Birty: why dont u stick a link to the events gallery on the banner thingy that highlights events?

TBH i don't see the point of birty's on facebook, maybe good if your one of those who spend most of their time in it but i will take a guess the novelty will quickly wear off quickly.
i do have a facebook account but it now only gets looked at probably once a week, i realy don't need to know what people are doing every half hour.

i.e watching telly, have xyz for tea, taking dog for walk etc

Never liked Facebook its just a place to make people feel self important. (Just my personal thoughts) if I wanted to know what someone was doing all day I would stalk them!

I just closed my fb account.

Loads of friend requests from very dodgy folk with little or no connection to me.

Then refused to log me in claiming my account had been fraudulently accessed.

They even refused to let me close the account until I gave them a reason why :icon_eek:

"I don't have to justify my decisions to you, I owe you nothing" seemed an appropriate response.

i am on there and i must say its a good way of finding folk you had lost touch with then after a while you realise why you had lost touch
also you realise how empty some folks lives are so i tend to look once in a while and then wonder why i looked

One of my old girlfriends managed to find me on there.

Now remarried, and diagnosed as paranoid  schizophrenic with psychotic tendencies.

Apparently she has at least three personalities, possibly a fourth.

It explains a lot. :icon_eek: :icon_eek: :icon_eek: :icon_eek:

Difficult to gauge at any particular point in time :017:

Seemed to change without any warning and also with her alcohol content.

Two cans of Tennants Super for breakfast wasn't unusual

She claimed it helped her cope with the stress of driving a van all day :icon_eek:
