On the subject,  PM me if any of you have photos from last year, I want to put some promo stuff together to send out.

I agree with the above.

Once the charity has been decided, I can print some leaflets.  I was planning on doing the 'cheap' style as per last year, but do like Chris's idea of including a good (action?) photo.  Will try and get some ideas sorted.

I wouldn't be able to attend any meeting on the last weekend of Feb.

If I get the new job I am after, I might not be able to do as much printing as the previous year, so would like to do as much as possible before I leave my current employment.

Just as a bit of extra coverage is there any Birtys that can possibly build a web page for CF06, that way we can promote it to a wider audience :D

How about Saturday 25th Feb for the meeting, or alternatively before the pub meet on the 4th of March.  Turn up an hour or so earlier.  I would say we could have it at mine, but it's a bit out of the way for most.

By the way, like the idea of a web page Owen.

If we get a web page, its much easier for peeps to click on a url to get there and find out about it.
Maybe have a few fun compertitions, slarlem corse, with heats to determin a winner, maybe theres a Birty who knows where we can get a see-saw fabed on the cheap and other 4x4 related stuff. Maybe do somthign similar to the turkey hunt!  If we get a web page we can put all this stuff on the page!
We need to put out to joe public there there is more stuff going on this year, the more we try to do, the more we can promote, and the more folks will come.

I can't make the 25th since I will be in Yorkshire for the weekend.

But I am still willing to help in anyway I can, just let me know.

Once we have more details, I can print some flyers, similar to before.

I ain't no web developer, but can knock a webpage together if needed with Mail Links and some animated Gifs. Nothing Spectacular, but don't mind writing it.

I have some space to host it, but we'd need a DNS redirection for it to have a proper name for the site.

This is my "Pissing about" page when I used to have spare time...
http://http://www.sladee.freeserve.co.uk Can do something along those lines for CF06

I have no probs paying to register www.cheapfest.co.uk (http://www.cheapfest.co.uk) for a couple of years (~£7) If you fancy that.

So is that Bubba's Red Scrambler?  For some reason, I thought his CJ-8 colour was blue.  It that a RHD or LHD?

Whilst I MIGHT be able to attend this year...getting my Scrambler over will be a bit more of a challenge.

Cheers

Sure might make it back your way in a few weeks Ed.  Look forward to a brew when I do (sorry bout that) .  Yep, I might just make it there three or four times between now and CF.

How've you been?  Are they working you too hard these days?

Sure would be grand if you could join us in June.  We are Jeepin in Moab, Utah.  The scenery is no doubt familiar if you have ever seen a John Wayne western.  See these photos....http://http://www.yellowecho.com/travel/moab.htm
