I'd always imagined a Ray Mears stile earth oven cooking up turkey's on the turkey hunt so with comments of coldrens n vegetarians and greggmo mears and warthog grills there it may be safer to adopt the rule of "If its not cookable, lock it down!" :greggmo: :003:

Just got confirmation from the FBU* that they will be requiring £25 per Truck, for the privelege to Hunt their finest birds this season.

Well i am doing santa at the local primary school on the saterday morning but i will be there on sat afternoon untill late and may crash in the jeep dunno yet i wont really be playing as the 3b will not be fixed till new year and i will be coming in larry our zj named after larry grason

Wheeling Sunday only, start time usually 10am (after a briefing from a grown up) till 4ish.
Campers usually turn up early Saturday evening to set-up. Drink beer, eat mince pies and keep toastie by the fire.

I need a miracle, for me to come in a jeep to turkey. My TJ is at FTE and will not be ready :017: :jpshakehead: My XJ is on my drive and needs the rear axle put on and the brakes rebuilt and fitted, The front axle needs swapping for the one with the same gearing as the rear and the arches all need removing and cutting for clearence and the bushwackers put on. To top it off i only have Saturday and Sunday to do it. So if this fails i will be coming in my van, to say hello and have a beer around the fire :098: See you there

Although predominately a Jeep event I think you are welcome to bring along a fellow landy BUT the usual rules apply, regardless of the badge, anyone turning up in a scrapper or not behaving appropriately & following any instructions given by marshalls will be booted from the site & not welcomed back, end of :icon_winkle:

Not by me though, as some would say "Inside Information" may have been available on potential locations.
For me, the Camp and meeting all the Birty's, was more fun than the wheeling :greggmo:

Put a sheet of tin under a tent, and will be the same experiance as overlanding with a roof tent.

Those that do not camp miss out, relaxing around the fire with good company, drinking and swapping stupid stories is the best part of the weekend. Cheers guys
