The one just down the road from me is called the Manx Arms or we could use the Woodbourn (still has a men only bar  with a log fire in it)

I’ve been to this pub for the odd pub-meet in the past. It’s on J2 of the M5 and it’s quite central: http://www.pub-explorer.com/wmids/pub/o ... ldbury.htm (http://www.pub-explorer.com/wmids/pub/oneandtwohalvesoldbury.htm)

But if you want a drive out into the country a little, then I’d suggest you have a look at this one: http://www.theanchorinncaunsall.co.uk (http://www.theanchorinncaunsall.co.uk) It’s not far from where we currently meet and it has a good atmosphere. The pub if famous locally for its cider and cobs with heaps of salad.  It’s also used a lot by the local biker clubs especially during the summer.

I’m all up for meeting at one pub and then going for a cruise especially in the summer to a couple of other localish pubs in the area.

I weren't impressed when I tried to order some food at quarter to nine, only to be told they stopped doin food at 8.30.

Thats fair enough, except all the menus and signs stated "food served till 9pm" and they were only printed in January.

We definately need a member map sorting but being as I have the I.T. skills of a baboon, I've no idea how to go about it!

Nothing can be simpler.

Clicky here (http://http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=111588754977741522351.000464347988df074b90b) for member locations.

Everyone who wants to be on the map post or pm me your post code. Doesn't have to be the full postcode, just the first half.

Cheers

Tad

there is a member map mod for phpBB called phoogle, it could then have its own direct button in the forum and be used via the user cp
