Now to serious business - FOOD
As part of the plan (that is sort of in my head) i thought it might be an idea to sort some group food for Saturday Night (Friday night i shall be down the local pub)
We need to end up with one option for group purchase (obviously individuals can do as they please)
so whose up for this and a voice between curry and Pizza

I will be doing some posts later with what is being prepared for your entertainment !?!

VOTES PLEASE

I would suggest that Pizza would be an easier option if you are ordering for loads of people (not trying to sort out who had a tikka, rogan josh with what rice etc)

Pizza is a sort of all pay so much, chuck various Pizza's in the middle and all tuck in.

Add to that, I can't stand curry!!!

I have a vague memory of ordering pizza at west harptree, it appeared to be in a delivery dead spot and we had to collect.

I'm happy to go with either, but as we'll be stood in a field, I guess pizza is more fitting...

Never been to Haptree.

Could you people in the know tell me if there will be toilets / shower / Portaloo style on the Camping field or do we need to take a shovel and a jerrycan of (cold) water for the morning wash?

If you are ordering loads, they'll travel. Domino's delivered to us in the middle of a Dutch field on the H4H rally.

Well I'm not going to make it in the YJ but will come down to catch up with everyone Friday night and hopefully find a passenger seat for a bit of a ride around Saturday morning just to get my Jeep fix.

YJ is getting there but electrickery is proving frustrating  :die:

Lack of time and a spaghetti of crispy scotch locked and spliced wiring is the killer. Working on someone else's modded car is tricky.

Almost tempting to leave the computer and dials wiring and independently wire up the rest through its own box of relays thereby cutting out the crispy stuff :icon_super:

Ok here are some plans for mid may

The ever skilful Mr Willets will be setting out some punches his desire is to challenge you not only on how to get to the first but the transition to the next one

I will be trying my hand at setting out 2 trial courses.  I hope for one to be easier, the second to be a bit more of a challenge.  We will be working to the rules of the 1st club I went trailing with which in my opinion are more fun - see below

To keep the excitement going we will also have snooker for jeeps and blind driving.  I would suggest that only very strong friendships/marriages attempt the latter (divorce did follow its last outing)

Finally there will be letters/numbers out on the site that spells a word or phrase that's important

I hope to have a communal bonfire running from approx 20.00 on the Saturday - pallets and wood supplies please, would a chain saw be an idea (only to be used by sober types)

I have mentioned about the scoff for Saturday and hope to have that sorted by then

Trials rules
Start at gate 1 with the white cane in your right
Progress through numbers keeping white on the right
Clear run scores zero points
Penalty Points are as follows
Touch a gate 5
Cross a gate with the inside of any tyre 15
Shunt 10 - 100" have one shunt elected before star
Missed gate 15
Maximum points 40
Break any of my expensive canes 80 points

Just to ram home NO competition is taking place

Everything organised under the control of Birty dastards jeep club
