Jeep bits and hello
« on: September 13, 2017, 06:14:20 AM »

Hi, I'm Bryan. This is my first post. I bought a Wrangler TJ a couple of years ago and broke it so I put a Transit engine in it, an old, slow one, but even though I could actually use it, it was too slow,  so I'm putting a Chevy V8 and TH400 in it. I sent the box off to an automatic gearbox specialist  and I just got the bill so am desperately trying to raise some cash so apart from a 20 foot cabin cruiser with a Perkins P$ 108 and enfield outdrive if anyone's interested, and the transit engine (early DI), I'm selling the bits I have left over, such as gearbox, AX5 with 21 spline output,  brand new braided clutch hose, clutch master and slave, in fact everything to do with the clutch and gearbox. All worked well and I did change the oil after it went in the puddle. I might even sell the wings if anybody is interested. I joined this forum a while back but have been waiting for my Jeep to be fit to take out and play in. Was going to put all the stuff on ebay but thought I'd tell you first just in case anyone wants any of it.
Cheers
