I'm up for something as well! I'm just down the road from Ellon (in Balmedie, outside Aberdeen)

Don't want to hijack this thread, but do you guys know of places to offroad round here other than Glentarkie and Drumclog?

Closet I know to Aberdeen for offroading is down by Stonehaven. Never been there myself, but hear that it is not to bad. Don't want something that is going to be to rugged, I don't have the right tyres nor want to damage my baby.

Best bet up your way is to join BORDC, they have events every month and could point you in the right direction for pay and play sites too.

Hey guys, i'm up in Aberdeen

Theres a few places to go, you've obviously got drumclog and Glentarkie.

The one just south of Stonehaven is at Inverbervie and is called Nortrak http://www.nor-trak.com/

Theres also Lamancha just south of Edinburgh thats quite good.

Deeside activity Park at braemar have a track, they had an open day last weekend actually but i was too hungover to make it :(  I wouldn't normally go there cos of the cost!

SORC is what you want to check out, been offroading with them before and it was a good laugh and they're all very friendly

Hi,
Let me know if anything is decided.

My Jeep has been off the road for a while rather than the prefered off road.
I am in Dunfermline, and mostly use Glentarkie.
I had it up there last weekend, and never broke anything...... result!

Last time I was at Nortrak I had a blast....... gubbed my gearbox there though.... it was crunchy for about a week before it died.

Howdy folks, I'm based in Glasgow and have just got a new Wrangler after wrecking my beloved TJ.
Email address is george.clegg@linn.co.uk so please let me know if you're planning a meet and I'll come join you.

Many thanks,

George.
