Hi all hopefully here someone can help !
1996 xj lift was done by previous owner its got 2 inch spcers on the front.
my RH control arm keeps coming up and smashing the cooler lines ( now hydraulic hose and relocated ive mashed em so much .
sump lip still hitting .
engine and gearbox mounts are good
control arm bushes look good and the front is generally nice and tight in my opinion.
springs i have no idea of condition or spec , same as the shocks no idea of the proper length under car weight .
bump stops all in place and looking ok too.
For a short term fix ive stuffed a ice hockey puck in there seems to be taking most the grunt.
any one seen this or give my a rough idea of some dimensions to check against just incase it my springs that are sagging or cut?
cheers !

It can happen, I dented my cooler lines this way. I found it was caused by the axle being shifted to the passenger side slightly due to the lift springs. Hockey puck as bump stop and realigning the track bar / panhard rod by drilling a new hole for it in the axle bracket.

Actually .... this is interesting, please remind me, but I remember a recall action on this.

chop out the hard lines and install some flexi hose (make sure it can take the heat) and just lift them up higher

simple extend the bump stops :icon_biggrin:

Hi all ! i relocated my lines using some hydraulic hose i had so those are all good .
it was still not right as its also mashed the sump lip up around the block .
im not sure its the track bar because the yoke on the opposite side also bangs the exhaust sometimes (new exhaust does not have the factory dent there )
my bump stops protrude past the metal holder by about an inch and a half on eash side .
i have slipped 1 hockey puck in each side for the time being !
