well one holiday and helpin ww in the garden later i managed to rebuild me rear axel yesterday  a result at last  it has been on the axel stands for over a week lookin ok for cheapfest yust a few eletrics to sort now must try today to get me cb wired up and me spot lamps o and me trailer socket how often do you check your wheel bearings folks this is realy just cjs i reckon o and lardys and mindys not often enough is my gess yester day a frend asked me to check somthing on his jeep  i had a look to find that the front wheelbearing had been replaced a while ago by a garage who fitted it corectly but never put any grease in the hub just what was on the bearing out off the packet my mate trusted the garage so was amased to find it had been picked up on the mot on the bearing  it only took me a short time to sort out i had got some well gresed  shand ones lying out side the garage so cleaned them regreased them  slapped it all together with more grease and all was well with the world again if you got a cj go out and check they should be checked and regreased every so often pack em full of mayo if you dont got no grease but dont let em run dry :smt028

Whilst we're on the subject, is there a simple way of getting grease into the bearing or do you have to strip it right down? :smt102
