I now have two sets of doors with the latch style handle but a cj7 with a ‘pin’ style on the body tub.
Has anyone ever swapped either the handle or the tub so they can match?
I’ve read that people have put hard top door latch onto a soft door but can’t seem to find the latch that would fit

I'd think the easiest thing to do would be to fab a striker plate for the tub to match the door. It's what I would probably do.

I had two type types of soft door with different latches on them and a pin on the tub. That was a fairly easy swap to swap the latches between soft doors. You can buy the striker plates for the tub from a few places, I think Bestop do them from memory. This might be easier for you if you don't have an easy set of latches you can swap over.

Get a couple of striker plates. I did the reverse, fitted later pins to my early tub. Simples.

Cheers guys and other way round of fitting striker pin is more available and checking to see if the series 2 Land Rover striker fits / can be adapted as might be easiest option
Looked at pin type handles and approx 100 from US and not really worth it for a pair of old doors
Been forced into this door as had old Whitco jeep hood before but new tub paint and don’t want to drill the side for press studs and old fashion doors that mount to the hood upright
Cheers for advice
