stiff gear change

Hi I'm new to jeeps....I have a 98 cherokee & the gear change is normall untile you change at higher revs (over 3500rpm)then its siff and ocasionally baulks in 4rd & 5th, this could be a worn clutch or the gear oil could be to heavey ( the baulk rings not been able to throgh it off effectivly)

I'm doing a lubrication sevrice next week but I just thought I'd ask if any one else has experianced this ?
