looks heavy and slightly daft maybe its the white paint

could be a good point coz mine looked daft when it was in primer grey whereas now its in black u hardly notice it

You have little faith - the 75 is the vehicle of choice and mine will be higher spec and under £30k finished!!!

I'm about 70% into the build - it's kinda like a bomb has gone off right now as just starting to put it back together - looks rather good if I do say so myself.

It's been some time but here are the updates...



Working on the roof rack, train horn fitted - thanks to CB and LED lights.


Solar panel, ground anchor, 10ltr jerry can (for oil) and gas bottle holder...


Long range diesel tank plumed in..


Stirips fitted on the side and secured to the internal support...



Fresh water and hot water tanks...


Glinde fitted by rear heater...


Switch panel...

That's very close to the truth, my experience tells me that rear visibility is paramount!!!! Especially in Africa.

Have more lights to go on the rear roof rack and a cuffing great big LED rear fog light, one really can't be to careful.
