early Limited SE ones did, as did diesels, also available as an option.

You will have a 2x3/4 in tab under one of the diff bolts, or jack the back axle up and rotate one wheel, if it has a trashloc (sorry trac loc) both wheels will turn the SAME way when one is rotated

All UK 4.0 LTD started out with a TracLoc but they were discontinued around '96 ish so you need to have a look.
1/look for a small tag attached to one of the rear cover bolts telling you to use limited slip diff oil, but this could be missing by now.
2/lift the rear of the Jeep and try to turn the rear wheels in opposite directions. if you can do this easily, either you don't have one or it is totally shagged.
3/take the rear cover off and look inside. If you can see a sieres of metal discs behind the gears that the driveshafts slide into, it's a TracLoc.

4/ go find somewhere really muddy, get stuck, leave it in drive, get out and see if both back wheeels are spinning. Actually get someone else to look or use your mirrors.

I noticed with my XJ recently that when jacking one rear wheel up it won't spin (other side on the ground). Does this indicate LSD or not? Just wondering as I keep putting additive in without really knowing.

In Park, but the handbrake's crap. From memory when both wheels are up if I spin one forward the other spins back. So from previous posts it probably isn't a LSD as it should also spin forwards? Just curious really as the tag was missing and I noticed the front wheels spin indepently.

Anyone got a picture/photo of the LSD as I'm due an oil change soon.

Strange enough mine has an LSD but sometimes when both the wheels are off the floor spinning 1 forwards will make the other go backwards, but if you drop 1 on the floor the wheel in the air is real hard to move, can move it with a wheel brace but not by hand. Be careful as doing this caused the jeep to move forwards, luckily it was on a wheeled trolly jack.
Found this out cause I'm a dumbass who was changing a wheel with the handbrake off. :banghard:
