Like I said to you some time ago, airshock are OK but when you go ORI it's another level.

Coilovers are unpredictable, helper spring, bump stop, nitro, warm-up and all that jizz....

It don't count for shiet 12" works (depending on tyres) and it's stable, go for the tummy tuck and suck down, no use having your balls dangling about!!

There are plenty of coilovered trucks out thre that work so I can't imagine its fair to say they are shite. I agree ORI's are very highly spoke of but they are expensive and when i bought these they were in heard of. I like a lot of travel and so long as your not adding it to a top heavy turd there is no reason it cant work.

My experiences with coilovers have been for two vehicles, firstly the Mafia a TJ Wrangler heavily modified, bilstein 9100 front (coil spring rear) bugger to set up and the lower collar seat let go more than once!! Secondly Strikeone the Diablo buggy had FOX coilovers front and air rear never felt comfortable, bit like the feeling you get at the point of no return.

So my experience is real life but you have another view and that's what makes as all different.

Often wonder if Air bumps ought to be at an angle for monster articulation like this???? Just a thought?

We were having the same conversation today im not sure I need a bump stop at full flex but defo want them at full bump. The only way to have both would be to mount them in the same plain as the shocks but then on a hard landing the forces would not be direct to the bumps they would be at an angle. It's all a learning curve. The teat drive will be pre paint so we can answer questions like this and possibly adapt. Time will tell

basically Tis what Big patrol says.......

You need them at full stuff at speed........ No arguement
But at monster articulation if they make contact at an angle they will get rogered or bent or jammed.......or......maybe as Big Patrol says they aren't really needed.......as lI said was just a thought looking at things contacting at an angle and looking like they won't work in a healthy way......Only a test off road will decide :icon_super:

I took them off the Mafia, they just get in the way of things and speed/jumps was never my thing.

Tried that!!! You will find it needs to have the foot print of the Ark Royal to find the sweet spot.
