Spoke to my fabrication manager colleague this afternoon........ss sidebars goin into production tomorrow  :icon_super:

Going for a T-bar rather than a U'e, screendump in a word doc, pic was protected
[attachment=1]

Seats to upholstry lady next week  :icon_super:

Been thinking of this rather than traditional half doors......thoughts/advice ?

Only because proper half doors cost a fortune and think I will feel a bit unprotected with nothing there.
These can be made in house for a song.

indeed if you can make them in house for a small outlay there would be a small but willing market

Other side wasn't that bad.  Wonder what kept the hinge in.....dust ? need to fabricate some plates and put them in.

Been grinding the majority of the bubbles back to bare metal and then applying this green two pack rust inhibitor/sealer
Ready for some bog tomorrow.

Life in the workshop is sweet  :icon_super:  but fook where does the time go

I have only so much space, there has to be some reality on what i can keep, so big stuff that appears pointless has to go, but if you want a crate of pointless lookin stuff just let me know  :003:

TBH the point of gettin the spares was to sell to try and recoup some of the hideous outlay, but if i aint got a fuckin clue what a sheet/lump of metal is i cant sell it or use it :banghead:
