Just a thought, chucking mk2 running gear in my comanche that wont require a cat

i wouldn't have thought so, the main issue would be the emmissions test reading high.
also they are clamping down on decatted vehicles. No cat no mot is what is intended

I knocked the centre out of my cat while waiting for a replacement. It made no real difference and didn't give any error codes or check engine light. (1998 XJ - just for reference)

Good-o. The mj is registered in 90 so doesnt need a cat,and running cat-less means an easy lpg install due to more space

Been like that in NI for a good few years now, first thing they do is enter vehicle reg, that throws up specs, if ANYTHING  isn't fitted that should be, the test goes no further and ya get a fail slip, then a 50% test fee charged for booking re test !

its also a commercial vehicle so doesn't meet such stringent tests.
