Stick lots of grease on the new one(or vaseline), feed it through gently, turning as you go...don't force it!

Small oil leak from timing case area / flywheel

AA man pinitially pronounced diff of leak  :jpshakehead:

Then stuck his finger in coolant reservoir and said that's v rusty - must be a head gasket or cracked head and then fucked off :017:

dump the coolant and refill with 50/50 mix of water and pink stuff. then add a bottle of K-Seal or liquid metal, that should either sort the issue or not. If sorted then it will give you time to source funds for a replacement head

on a lighter note mine now runs with throttle either full on or off. running on gas now returns approx 10mpg god knows what it is on petrol.

Have you got one the other side covering the inner side of the disc ......cos that is what it looks like.
And no if it's that you don't need them cos they clog with mud and ruin your day. :icon_super:
