Viscous to Electric fan - XJ Diesel

I'm thinking about changing the viscous fan for electric fans.

I've found a twin fan system from one of our customers cars with a bust radiator so it's going to be scrapped. I'm fairly confident it's got enough oomph to do the job.

They normally have a 3 speed system:

1st stage 1 fan runs at full speed (lower flow than 2nd fan)
2nd stage is both fans run but 2nd fan runs at low speed
3rd stage is both fans run but 2nd fan runs at high speed

I'm not sure exactly how it's controlled but think its done in the ECU. So I'll need to wire it up using aftermarket bits. Ideally I want a main cut off switch, but the rest needs to be controlled by coolant temp sensor.

Has anyone done this before? And more importantly which relays did you use?
