Only 4.56 but I have the following............
brand new crate ls1 with Delphi computer rated @410 h/p
built th400 (upgraded Kevlar clutches,sprag,deep pan,art carr reverse manual valvebody w/compression braking and 32 spline output)
art carr 2200 stall rock crawling torque converter
stak 2 speed monster box(5.44)

As you can see it's a power house.

To be honest i dont know, it does sound like its gonna bang in the clutches, and your not gonna have any drive untill you hit 2200 but it should certainly launch.
Have you guys got a rock crawling thing going on over there in the iom?
Edit; wont you have a lot less engine braking on the decent(just a thought)

Yep looks that way, from what i can get reading between the lines, you have to get the stall speed matching the peak tourqe of the engine, so theoretically if your peak torque is at 2200 rpm it should kick ass 8-)
