Title: '96 cherokee
Post by: disco_monkey79 on March 16, 2011, 02:55:30 PM
Will hopefully (if it doesn't sell in the meantime) be viewing a '96 2.5 petrol cherokee.

Could you kind people advise of any specific problems areas these have, in terms of corrosion? Any nasty water traps that always go?

And anything i should particularly look out for re the 4x4 system?

Apologies for the noddy questions, but I've had no involvement with jeeps before now. I was hoping these were going to be more mechanically simple than my current ride (24v Probe), but reading the thread on fault codes, it would appear not!

Much obliged!

EDIT - is there a page on the forum that gives this sort of info?

Avoid ones that have been rollered black.... :hysterical:

24v Probe hmm can you get front tyres to last more than 10k?
