Changed manifold gasket today as it was blowing, everything went to plan but , on start up tickover would not settle down just over 1000 revs left it running but still too high, it's a single gasket that covers exhaust and inlet checked all vacuum connections for leaks all ok so sprayed some brake cleaner lightly over the inlet manifold to check the seal to the new gasket it showed a leak straight away!! re sealed job done!! :icon_winkle:
so if you have a high tickover check vacuum lines and manifold to head for leaks
