Title: '98 TJ Steering Box
Post by: BigJea on November 02, 2012, 02:02:32 PM
Hi Guys

Does anyone know where I could get a second hand steering box or a relatively inexpensive new one?

Or is it possible to repair a worn one?

Thanks

Anyone gotta TJ/XJ steering box with no more than 80K miles travelled that they'd like to find a new home for?

None on ebay i would trust, but i recently changed mine and got it from here http://www.westernpowersteering.co.uk/ (http://www.westernpowersteering.co.uk/)

I paid about £260 based on returning your old one. To be honest i would go this route as it comes with guarantees unlike ebay ones and second hand units. Afterall it is your steering we are talking about and not a replacement fag lighter
