Will hopefully (if it doesn't sell in the meantime) be viewing a '96 2.5 petrol cherokee.

Could you kind people advise of any specific problems areas these have, in terms of corrosion? Any nasty water traps that always go?

And anything i should particularly look out for re the 4x4 system?

Apologies for the noddy questions, but I've had no involvement with jeeps before now. I was hoping these were going to be more mechanically simple than my current ride (24v Probe), but reading the thread on fault codes, it would appear not!

EDIT - is there a page on the forum that gives this sort of info?

Avoid ones that have been rollered black.... :hysterical:

24v Probe hmm can you get front tyres to last more than 10k?

my Probe was more economical 19-21mpg


TJ does @17tho it wont do a clock 135....
