SSBC Brake components
« on: April 30, 2011, 06:45:40 PM »

My God, I have had a right cock of a day, So there I was thinking to myself, hmm I'll take my rear brakes apart on the Tj, and replace the pads and service the whole set up, as my handbrake and that are shit. So first of all I go to take the wheel off and end up shearing a stud  :icon_rolleyes: oh well, I'll sort that out later, so then I go to replace the pads and service the caliper, I notice that the caliper is not free floating, so I try to free up the pad housing and guess what, kerfuckinsnap goes the lower peg that the whole thing floats on,........SO my question is, and I will attatch some pics so you can see what I mean, do I have to buy the (what I call pad housing) from SSBC or supplier OR is this some generic part that I would find on a Model T Thunderbird from 1926 or so Or maybe someone has one they want to sell me

Many Thanks

Willo
