Then decided to fit a radio remote control
So found these units on Ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Channel-RF-Wireless-Transmitter-Remote-Control-315MHz-/300572555951?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45fb853aaf#ht_1389wt_1397

As did not like the size of the normal ones sold for winches

installed it a box

Also added a switch and LED indications and mounted it in the front grill

So now have remote and grill controls
The box is mounted where the air intake normally is, But have snorkel fitted so not a problem

Now for the cab controls

My zj Laredo had a indication panel that all it did was to tell me that i was in Hi or Low range. As that is F**King obvious to any one with a brain what range your in
I got rid and decided to mount  some useful switched there instead.
Mounted the winch on off switch on the new panel i installed

Mounted the in cab winch In - Out switch on the centre console

So now have 3 ways to control my winch
May seem over kill but it was a nice projected to do
