School me, Aw4 tranny cooler

get a remote,big as ya can one from summit or similar.......one with a fan......... Mount,in,a cool place away from heat........

Two guages.....one to measure hot......coming out of gearbox....... And the other to measure cooler fluid coming out of the cooler........ And back into box........that'll keep it alive.....


Yes......l wish I'd had that set up a few weeks ago........ :hysterical:

I fitted a huge one off a Vauxhall Omega to my Voyager. 15 quid off Ebay.

The transmission cooler in my xj radiator busted a few weeks ago, what a mess, so have bypassed that now, added another cooler off a zj, fitted it to the nearside so its having air drawn all the time, everything runs so much cooler now, also stripped out the ac rad as well so that allows a bit more air through. But do have plans for even more transmission cooling, have to be a bit carefull so as not to create too much back pressure within the tm cooler circuit though  :icon_biggrin:
