zj windscreen
« on: June 24, 2008, 09:20:27 PM »

can you fit a zj windscreen yourself?  or is it a complex and involved escapade involving glue and stuff, i broke a back quarter light a while back and autoglass went on about bollox basically saying only they can do it.  but it was a lie and i only needed a screwdriver i'm wondering is the same true of the windscreen.

As I broke it with a spanner which flew off whilst using fitting hood mounts for the highlift

I think you will find that the windscreen is bonded in, the thing to do is have a mate thats a windscreen fitter,or do a blag on the insurace if your screen is covered.  :-D
