XJ Coil spring
« on: June 05, 2011, 08:19:46 PM »

One of the front coil springs that were fitted to my XJ decided to give up the ghost and part company with the load coil. Ok they are just under 5 years old and they are the rubicon express road flex 3.5" coils, so to be fair i would have expected them to last longer. The haven't had a hard life with two offroad outings a year and the rest road use.

Paint coating has all but gone, so quality in that count is not good. They have sagged 1/2" which i suppose isn't that bad.

Got some rough country springs now fitted as a stop gap, so i'll see how they compare.
