Title: How do you get the front of the hard top down correctly
Post by: 249raf on November 04, 2009, 07:34:52 PM
Hi Guys

Thanks in advance, i bought my YJ back in April and used the soft top only, now its decidedly colder and due to the wife writing off my day to day car ive put the hard top on the jeep to do the 10mile commute.

Its the first time ive put the hard top on and i found that i cant get the front of the hard top to drop down far enough to line up with he threaded holes on the windscreen frame

any suggestions please

ian

Put the soft top back on...If YJ heaters are anything like those in TJ's you'lll be cosy...

Is it definately the right hard top, I ask because I dont think a TJ hard top will fit a YJ & vice versa especially around the front end.

Apologies if it is the right one, never taken ours off, just a thought
