I was told by a breaker that the yj tops would not fit a tj. There's a guy on ebay that's selling a top he thought was a tj top but it turns out to be a yj top. He says he attached the front with screws because there's no clamps. Anyone seen this? I'm wondering if the clamps from a tj soft top could be modified to fit on the yj hardtop... Anyone ever done this? Cheers

I'd wait for the right top to come along. They come up all the time especially in spring. The windscreen frame is different on a YJ so you'll have problems with wnd noise/water leaks with the wrong top. I wouldn't bother messing about with it.
