ok I have 2 options, I close the forum for 2 day and finish the new install or I get the core update done so the forum is usable and do the custom work with the forum live.

I assumed you grumpy whinging fucks would like to at least use the forum but if I was wrong just say and I'll shut it again till its finished

ffs within 2 mins of going live and before I can post an explanation someone fuckin moans like its the end of the world.

for your information, this is a stock theme as the custom one I wrote for the old system is not compatable and needs re writing which will take a day or two if thats ok with you lot

No sign of the general section, perhaps you can see it as a moderator.

I appreciate why the changes are needed, but it would've been good to have some advance warning. I know as a UK based and managed forum, out of hours upgrades are not possible, especially since it is run by volunteers who also have to earn a living and need their beauty sleep as well
