engines to fit a 1999 grand cherokee ltd

hi every body im a brit living in bulgaria i bought a jeep grand cherokee ltd with a 3.1diesel its a 1999  the engine has given up and would like to know what other engines will fit petrol or diesel and has anyone got one for sale

You really need to get another 3.1 or you will have a nightmare getting the electrics to work.

anything will fit! just depends how much time and money you have!, (large block chevy v8  :twisted: ) but fitting the same again would be easier.
