Anyone know if WJ seats will fit a XJ with some modification? My switches have all but died and I'm after something new or manual.
-
seat runners will require modifying and or re-bolting to floor pan due to the offset installation
-
What about zj?

:iagree: I have a feeling that ZJ seats are pretty much a direct swap, but you lose some headroom. Have the switches stopped working on your current seats (my passenger seat has also just decided it doesn't want to move backwards! :banghead: )?

Yes bryn 1 direction never worked and at the LRO show at Peterborough (long story) I gave my mates kids driving lessons in the jeep and after 3 kids use they were dead. ZJ seats sound good, are they the same in the rear also?
-
I think its more of a squeeze in the rear Jay although I believe it can be done
-
I think you have to fab up some custom brackets to make the rears fit, but I have seen it done. I also have a feeling that they sit at a different angle and lose some more room.
You do get the split-fold though, which could be handy

ZJ seats fit but you need to split the seat rails as they are not a direct bolt in. didn't have a loss of head room when i fitted some into my XJ.
