Post by: craig on April 05, 2005, 10:52:26 PM
Good day birtys,

Has anyone heard of a bloody squeak coming from what sounds like the front axle, It happens all the time now in any gear/speed even in 4wd :!:  :smt115

Any thoughts would be much appreciated

I had a simular noise before xmas and when bubba took a look at it, it turned out to be one of the uj's on the prop. Thanks to Bubba it was changed the same night.

rekon you will find it is yore carden joint on the prop for the  front axel sounds just like a small bird traped under the jeep it will be the ball in the center of the joint take it of and grease it there may or may not be grease nippels on it if not you have to work the grease in to the joint
