sorry guys can't be with you this year as the jeep has now a live front axle due to knackered ball joints, don't want to risk a busted steering and no recovery by companies like what happened at cheapfest.

Not sure on his name (sorry), came in a patrol towing the trailer with the SWB Pajero on it. Got stuck a couple of times in the sheep dip, the time he nearly made it through the Pajero cut out! Think he said fueling issues. Ended up proper wedged about an hour and 3 winches to get it out.

Top day out, weather damn nearly held off for most of it too.

Three winch recovery was fun, followed by helping out rescuing a stranded Mindy & finally but by no means leastly, was pleased to be able to offer the use of Shiney tools

& not just mine, but Stews as well

Great to see old friends & new ones too.

Had a great day out, I have to say thanks to the organisers and to Kev for bringing 2 Mindies just so I could have a play too. Oh and sorry for gettin one of them ridiculously stuck

And thanks to all the folks that helped us recover it

Lots of equipment, help and faffing got it out and then running again

Topped off by towing mates ninety back on a strap after getting his clutch full off mud, had to stop and clean the rad on the xj as the temperature was borderline and i don't need to kill another motor

And Will, i think its classed as a v8 tractor, or at least it should be, damn things unstoppable.
