yet more transmission issues
« on: April 13, 2014, 07:49:26 PM »

Hi

I've posted several times in the past re my 2.7 CRD and the issues i've had; seems they still persist. So any help, advice or direction would be most welcome.

The issues have been lots and intermittent and i thought resolved. I've so far replaced the conductor place and socket, had the gear shift assembly reconditioned (great guy in poland), replaced the transfer case switch and most recently rewired the transfer case switch back to the ECU. After replacing the Gear Shift Assembly all seemed well, then after a week or two the MIL started to appear becoming more regular, and now on 70% of the time. The gear box either stays in first, some other gear, or all drive ceases - when this happens putting in to reverse or park is very 'snatchy' rather than smooth. Soon as the light goes out the gear selection is very smooth again.

I'm getting P0702 and P0836 - indicating TCM and Transfer case issues.

So any suggestions - please.

Cheers in advance.
