Title: Front axle swaybar links
Post by: gordy on August 01, 2016, 03:24:11 PM
Here are two picts of the front axle on my recently aquired XJ.  As you can see one side has the link to attach the swaybar drop link to, the other side is missing.  It handles OK without the swaybar attached but would like to have it attached on the road if possible.  So I'm wondering if anyone has a scrap DANA 30 who would be able to cut the passenger side link off and mail to me, thanks.

are they RE springs on the front? if so be wary as they can fatigue break near the top, plus the paint coat finish is more for looks rather than protection

No they are Rough Country springs.  My TJ springs were Rugged Ridge and the paint finish on those were crap as well, if fact worse than these.

Did you get a bracket sorted? I have one I can cut off if you still need one.

Thanks mate, I made one from some 8mm steel plate and got it welded on.
