took Tonka for a drive today, to get a shinny new exhaust made :003:
won't see it again for 2 weeks as my m8 is doing it as fit in job, gone for a single outlet at the back but with everything tucked up as high as possible, with a low burble and not to shouty (must be getting old but might need to use it as a road car this summer)

Glad to see it again... still looking good........ hope all goes well this season :icon_twisted:
was hoping to make the breakout but.......... both axles in bits :jpshakehead: :jpshakehead:
-
the trailor still looks too small
-
Better than my trailer...................... King's new clothes................. :hysterical: :hysterical: :icon_twisted:
-
its as short as I could get and as narrow, 1" clearance on width for a CJ, rated for 3 ton and tows nice and straight, but see where your coming from Dave.
-
gave him 3 weeks and he done it in 3 days :003:
exhaust all done, nothing below the chassis, will be easy to live with just a low rumble, nothing too loud and all for £250 :icon_super:
-
ok we need to hear it now. get a clip up on you tube
-
cant m8, he has agreed to store the car and trailer for me for a few weeks so I have room to work on yella
-
im worried bout ya mate, admittedly a v good deal but all this quiet nonsense when ya got a V8 is indicatin that we gonna see ya at the breakout in a flat cap and wool lined beige moccasin slippers ya old bugger :003:
-
when i say quiet i'm comparing it to running on headers
-
wonder if anyone has a noise meter?
-
there is an app on android market for a DB meter
-
what you say, can you type a bit louder :hysterical:
-
wonder if anyone has a noise meter?
used to have one but that went with the job i left. used to take it to bike track days and rip the local council to bits as they didn't know what to do with the uncalibrated equipment they had.
some of the apps on the droid market only go to 94dB
if you dl one the reading should be in dBA which represents the human hearing. 104 is the normal race limitation 70 to 80 is normal day to day noise. if you want to be accurate search ggogle for actual level comparisons

-
